This is an urban local wildlife site. Three layers of ex landfill are now a mix of scrub and grassland with some woodland originating from landfill remediation. Also a large two part woodland, part semi-natural beech woods and part remnant ornamental gardens with some glades in both. Habitat work of creating scrapes has enhanced wet areas. The site has seen a decent amount of recording by local naturalists and an active friends group and the list is steadily increasing. |

| 85 | Beacon Hill LNR | This is one of Brighton & Hove's Nature Reserves in Rottingdean, Sussex. It is mainly chalk grassland very close to the nearby cliffs. There is woodland, an old allotment scrub area, and more recently a miniature pitch and putt course has been absorbed into the reserve. Sheep grazing takes place at certain times of the year. Butterflies, Birds and Plants are regularly monitored but Insects, Fungi and other organisms are currently under-recorded here. | 499 |

The 281 hectare reserve is located on the Northwest Norfolk coast - 4 miles east of Hunstanton. The site was brought by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust in 1965 and celebrates its 50 anniversery this year (2016). The site is designated as part of the North Norfolk Coast SSSI on account of the intertidal sands and muds, saltmarshes, shingle banks and sand dunes. There are extensive areas of brackish lagoons, freshwater pools, reedbeds and grazing marshes. |
