Beacon Hill LNR

This is one of Brighton & Hove's Nature Reserves in Rottingdean, Sussex. It is mainly chalk grassland very close to the nearby cliffs. There is woodland, an old allotment scrub area, and more recently a miniature pitch and putt course has been absorbed into the reserve. Sheep grazing takes place at certain times of the year. Butterflies, Birds and Plants are regularly monitored but Insects, Fungi and other organisms are currently under-recorded here.
