About me:
I am a Yorkshireman living in Guernsey and I have been interested in birds since I was a boy. In 1999 I also started to record moths, and then plants from about 2009. I have been recording the other groups just for the last seven or eight years. Most of my recording is done locally, with 85% of my total seen within a few miles of my house, so there are lots of common British species I have never seen. Guernsey has a long tradition of natural history recording and, with the knowledge gained through pan-species listing, I hope to keep this going.
