About me:
I have been a bird watcher for many years, but during the pandemic and subsequent lockdown my interest in the natural world grew to include pretty much everything. I began photographing and studying all aspects of nature and have been publishing articles in various newspapers and magazines in my local area (The Chilterns in Oxfordshire). I have joined several nature groups and specialise in fungi, slime moulds, butterflies, hoverflies, bees, wasps and wildflowers.
Age:
68
My bogey species:
Although I have already seen them, I am always looking for Bitterns, Bearded Tits and Bullfinches.
My most wanted:
The Purple Emperor and all the Hairstreak butterflies.
My grippers:
Silky Rosegill (Volvariella bombycina)
Latest addition:
Ruby-tailed Wasp
