About me:
48, isle of wight resident at the mo, spent years with RSPB and county wildlife trusts wardening, now a mix of consultancy for the bills and projects for fun. I am a naturalist of the old school really - it takes a week to walk anywhere because of the inevitable distractions. And i have a hand lens in my glasses case.
I have 30 years of ticks (i'm starting at Common Nighthawk 1981 on St. Agnes because i can't remember anything before) but in no system whatever and feel the mid-life urge to collate coming on. PSL makes it all worthwhile.
I hope i can join your exalted ranks.
