I am just posting to let people know that the National Trust is having a BioBlitz at Birling Gap in East Sussex and we are looking for people to come along and record on the day. It is happening as part of a national campaign of BioBlitz's around the country. Here at Birling Gap we have a variety of habitats including chalk grassland, chalk heath, scrub, improved pasture, arable and blocks of secondary woodland. Part of the site is a new purchase that has not had much recording done in the past. We will also be holding a inter-tidal shore search and seasearch will be scuba diving offshore.
If you are interested or would like more details then please email [email protected].
