I have posted a photograph taken of a dark Darter species on iSpot for a few days but no comments or identifications have been made. I can't say I have any experience of Common Darter females, who I believe get darker colorations as they get older? My photo was taken in the churchyard at Church Norton, near Selsey (part of Pagham Harbour) and a coastal location. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Darter species
Can you put a link up to the pic?
The easiest way to seperate Common and Ruddy Darter is by the legs, if it has all black legs then its Ruddy. If there is a yellow stripe on the leg then it'll be Common Darter.
