About me:
Alan passed away in April 2017. His ashes are scattered at Spurn. Started birding in 1965 after seeing a Barn Owl (I was 6 at the time). Got into Plants, Butterflies and Moths and Odonata during the 80s and most other stuff more recently after my legs finally gave up. I'm quite proud of the fact that my british bird list is now on 483 and I've never owned a car (I've got some very good mates).
