About me:
Started as a birder, and then got into moths. Did a lot of plants a while ago, but just love insects of all sorts nowadays. I enjoy keying things out, and this is a great excuse to remain a generalist and not to specialise! Based in Yorkshire. List almost entirely of species self-found and self-identified.
Age:
49
My bogey species:
Anything microscopic or fungal (or mossy pretty much), or marine.
My most wanted:
There's an ichneumon that parasitizes caddisflies - underwater! A Bee Hawkmoth. Wryneck.
My grippers:
Scarce Vapourer, Mire Pill Beetle, some exceptionally obscure winter gnats.
