About me:
Now in Scilly. Too busy to sort out my lists. I just like putting names to things and understanding what lives where, when I've got a moment.
Age:
My bogey species:
Don't feel like I've got any serious ones just now.
My most wanted:
Bee chafer would be lovely.
My grippers:
Chestnut bunting - not everyone gets to find a (potential) first for Britain in the bird line. Seemingly having managed that, I must get going with Papay's myriad kelp flies ("warey matlos") as surely there's a first to Science there somewhere.
Primula scotica (Scottish primrose).
Golden-winged warbler.
Orkney vole.
Hair sedge (Carex capillaris) - the dunes on Papay have the only Orkney site for this little cutey.
Latest addition:
Arctic Warbler, Dusky Slug (Arion subfuscus) and Toothed Medick.
