About me:
I have been interested in wildlife from a young age. Whilst studying Countryside Management at Bishop Burton College, which was then part of Humberside University, in the 90s, I discovered the joys of U.K. wildflowers. Having spent nearly 3 decades keeping natural history journals and travelling at home and abroad to see as much as I can, I realise, I have been for some time, in theory and sometime practice, a pan-species lister.
Now all I have to do is sort out decades of notes and semi-lists and get them into some sort of order!!!
Age:
52
My bogey species:
Too many to mention. My bird list is especially patchy!
My most wanted:
Lizard Orchid. Orca. Scottish Wildcat.
Latest addition:
Apple & Plum Case-bearer Moth larva - Coleophora spinella.
