Last updated on:

First got interested in birds in early 1990's, then gradually progressed to plants, butterflies, dragonflies, and fungi. Have seen most British native plants, and all butterflies & dragonflies (except Irish ones). Started doing local patches and getting more interested in insects in general. Recently have been recording fungi, moths, lichens and beetles in particular.
My bogey species:
Glaucous Meadow Grass, Cory's Shearwater.
My most wanted:
Bog Hair Grass, Stag Beetle, Scottish Wildcat, Mole, Pine Grosbeak, Ghost Orchid.
Chestnut Sided Warbler, Diapensia, Alpine Rock Cress, Snow Pearlwort.
