Prostheceraeus vittatus (Candy Stripe Flatworm)

Prostheceraeus vittatus (Candy Stripe Flatworm) - I've been desperately keen to find one of these ever since clapping eyes on an illustration in a seashore guide. Many years later and I've finally seen the beast for myself, well worth the wait too! This was found on the underside of a large rock embedded in a maerl bed at Coral Beaches, Skye during the lowest tide of the year on 30.3.21. Just stunning and my 17th species of platyhelminth.
