Heath Assassin Bug (Coranus subaptera)

Looking through some old photos  I came across this unidentified bug  taken July 11th 2004 at Thurstaston Common N.T. Cheshire VC 58.I now think it to be a member of the Reduviidae family Coranus subaptera. This would be a good record for VC 58.Assassin bugs are mainly southern species so any species in my area would be notable. The site is heathland which fits in nicely with C.subaptera.This would be my first ever record of an Assassin Bug.
