Male Eristalis cryptarum (Fabricius, 1794), bog hoverfly, on bog bean Menyanthes trifoliata at Challacombe Bog, Devon 24th May 2014.

Found by Rob Wolton and Andrew Cunningham despite overcast cold conditions, during a Devon Fly Group meeting to search for it.
