About me:
I'm a birder and biology teacher and live in Edinburgh. I have had a long interest in many aspects of natural history but have never really tried to identify difficult groups - too easily distracted by the bold and brightly coloured easy stuff! Other than birds I have been most into dragonflies, moths and large mammals over the years.
My bogey species:
Killer Whale - I have spent quite a few weeks in the Northern Isles over the years and think I should have lucked in by now
My most wanted:
Killer Whale
My grippers:
I doubt I really have any - I saw the Naumann's Thrush in Chingford in 1990 and I also identified a strange isopteran at Millport a few years ago so I'll have to dig that record out.
Latest addition:
Birds: Arctic Warbler 13/9/2015. Moths: Feathered Thorn 29/10/2015
