Xanthoria ulophyllodes

Xanthoria ulophyllodes, another of the Xanthoria candelaria complex. It is fairly easily separated as the blastidia are on the lobe margins in a lip shaped arrangement. It is scarcer than the other two frequent species, and seems most often found on fallen twigs from basic barked tee species. This photograph was taken on a tree in Mataelpino north of Madrid in Spain.
