Xanthoria aureola, very similar to parieitna except that the lobes do not overlap, and are distinctly separate. It occurs on rocks, and hard substrates close to the sea. It took a long time to be separated from X. parieitna, but, although there are often indtermediates, it is now reckoned a good species.
